Valentine's Ball for Brain Cancer

Curated by KJS led full event production, including concept & vision direction, venue and vendor selection, sponsor and brand partnerships, guest experience design, activation, silent auction development, and on-site operations, run-of-show, and team management.

A curated silent auction raised $10,000+ for glioblastoma research, blending purpose seamlessly with celebration from brands like Essie, Glowbar, OSEA, Parke, Roller Rabbit, Supergoop, Tuckernuck, The Washington Capitals, The Washington Nationals & more.

Event Activations:

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the “Gray for a Reason” tribute installation, created to honor individuals impacted by glioblastoma. Ahead of the event, names were collected from families, friends, and community members and hand-calligraphed onto a variety of heart-shaped paper pieces. Each heart was then placed on a wall forming a moving visual tribute serving as a place for quiet recognition and also as a photo moment, grounding the event’s purpose within the celebration. Additionally, the event featured an espresso martini bar, live fashion illustrations, hand typed “Love Letters” poems, permanent jewelry, and the Gray for Glioblastoma Smiles Support and Scribbles activation.

Decor:

For the Valentine’s Ball at the French Embassy we wanted something unique, beautiful and unexpected. so, we combined our favorite bows and candles from RPZL to create a custom candle display with clear acrylic candle holders, accented with matching details from Drunk in Love and Roller Rabbit

Plus, we couldn’t resist the cherry moment! A champagne tower overflowing with cherries and topped with matching cherry claw clips for that playful pop of color.

Plus, an ode to valetines day with fresh petals & custom matchbooks!
